Piping Discipline Lead with
 experience in onshore or offshore projects.
 
Aker Solutions take care of energy assets in a Life Cycle perspective. From the start to end of production Aker Solutions ensures safe operations, optimizes field utilization, and enables field life-extensions. We do business development and execute modifications and maintenance projects. There is a global trend towards decarbonization, and we aim to help our customers to decarbonize their operations and measure their emissions to manage them more efficiently, for instance by delivering brownfield electrification of existing offshore facilities. Now we explore opportunities in the aftermarket for renewables, to deliver offshore maintenance for the renewable sector when the market is ready. Aker Solutions employs approximately 11,000 people in more than 20 countries.
 
 
What will you be doing?
  • Lead and manage all piping engineering activities for the assigned project.
  • Prepare man-hour estimates, schedules, and manpower resource plans to meet project objectives.
  • Ensure project progress aligns with the schedule and meets required quality standards.
  • Establish timelines for personnel assignments on the job.
  • Supervise, assign, and schedule tasks for the entire piping team.
  • Maintain communication with the client and discipline Lead Engineers to ensure accurate and timely information flow.



Qualifications we think you should have:
  • Relevant technical background with experience as a Piping Lead Designer or Discipline Task Responsible
  • Strong expertise in engineering practices, deliverables, and design phases (concept, FEED, detailed design)
  • Proficient in 3D modeling tools (PDMS/E3D) with in-depth knowledge of equipment layout, piping, and safety standards
  • Extensive understanding of international codes and standards (ASME, NORSOK)
  • Familiarity with Aker Solutions Project Execution Model (PEM)
  • Software skills: E3D, Xait
