Piping Cats and Specs Engineer
Contract period: ASAP - 31.10.2025
Location: Stavanger
Main Tasks:
- Responsible for cats&spec database for pipe and pipe support on projects.
- Setting up, maintaining, and updating the component database in Aveva E3D.
- Daily user-support in the 3D-model.
- Maintain piping classes, add new components and tagged valves according to client's requirement.
- Offering support to piping and pipe support designers in the modeling of valves, instruments, and other vendor components within the database.
- Modification and creation of new components in the catalogue.
Qualifications:
- Technical Bachelor or masters degree within relevant area 3-5 years experience with cats&specs.
- Bsc. is preferred, but can be compensated with long experience within described work tasks.
- Experience with the client’s engineering systems and method is an advantage.
- Experienced in use Aveva E3D, Aveva Catalogue.
- Experience with pipe and pipe support modelling in Aveva E3D.
- Knowledge of PML (Programmeable Macro Language) and PARAGON.
- Good understanding of piping requirements/piping discipline experience highly beneficial.
- AVEVA E3D, Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint (Requirement).
- English (Requirement), Norwegian (Preferred).
