Description:
Our client is a major North American energy company based in Calgary, Alberta - Canada, that develops and operates natural gas pipelines, storage facilities and power-generation plants, with focus on renewable energy sources.

What you’ll do:
  • Complete detailed technical engineering assessments which include the review of pipeline integrity information, evaluation of the pipeline condition, and determination of fitness for service
  • Critically review data and multi-variate data analysis
  • Collaborate and communicate with business units to understand and address their needs
  • Assist in the monitoring for compliance with procedures and regulatory requirements
  • Provide technical direction and advice to all aspects of Pipeline Integrity Engineering
  • Provide support with data gathering, analysis and reporting.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
  • Licensed Engineer or Registered Professional Engineer (APEGA)
  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in pipeline integrity, project management, risk and reliability or related field

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Proficiency with Canadian and US pipeline regulations
  • Experience in audit, assurance, and regulatory engagements
  • Ability to multi-task effectively in a fast-paced environment, remain organized and maintain a strong focus and attention to detail
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Creative, 'out-of-the-box' thinking
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong data analysis and presentation skills with demonstrated Project Management skills
