Designation (Job Title): Operator – Gold & Silver Reduction and Gold /Silver electro refinery
Department: Precious Metal Refinery
Education: Diploma Engineer/ Trade certificate in Chemical/ Metallurgy/ Process Engineering
Experience: Experience in process plants 1 to 7 years
Technical Competencies:
• Domain knowledge of precious metal refining (Gold & silver reduction, gold, silver electro refinery)
• Appreciation of maintenance practices
• Appreciation of quality systems
• Chemical / reagents safely handling/ storage
Position that the Role reports into: Shift supervisor -Gold & Silver Refining
Peers including Position:
• Operator - Gold reduction
• Operator - Silver reduction
• Operator - Gold & Silver ER
• Operator - Gold & Silver Anode casting
• Operator - Gold & Silver ingot casting and minted bar
Role:
• To undertake the gold & silver reduction, gold and silver electro refinery, process at the Precious Metal Refinery (PMR) at the production of gold bars of stipulated purity range along with other quality specifications after subsequent processes.
• To achieve norms of productivity and learn continuously towards improvement of technical competencies and multiskilling.
