Purpose:


The position of Operations Readiness and Assurance (OR&A) Technical Support supports the growth opportunities or project of THE CLIENT'S assets to:
  • Ensure that both the Project and Asset are fully prepared, ready, and aligned to deliver the Project and Operational requirements.
  • Assure engagement of the asset team and optimal delivery from Project Team to the Asset Team
  • Assure readiness for safe and flawless start-up of the facility.
Accountabilities: 

Main responsibilities of this role:
  • Provide support to ensure activities within the FEED and EXECUTE phase includes the requirements of the Operations Readiness Discipline Delivery Plan.
  • Provide operations support to studies and activities on HSSE activities such as Hazard Operability Analysis (HAZOP), lay out study, As Low as Reasonably Practicable (ALARP) demo, etc.
  • Provide support during pre-commissioning, Factory Acceptance Test (FAT), Site Acceptance Test (SAT) and incorporate findings into relevant processes and/or documentations.
  • Simplification of Operations Readiness & Assurance Control Points such that it is tailor fitted to the Project Context and Environment.
  • Ensure that all risks identified in Risk Register required prior to pre-commissioning, commissioning, start up and acceptance are closed.
  • Ensure that the three specific risk areas, Tightness, Cleanliness, Integrity, are managed properly during the execute phase.
  • Manages completion activities including but limited to Project Punch List items, AAR, Lesson Learned
  • Perform Operations Readiness Review and Audits.
  • Ensure compliance to Verification Certificate of Readiness (VCR) and Statement of Fitness (SoF) requirements prior to issuance of approval and client acceptance.
  • Ensure meeting all requirements of Handover of Ownership and Final Acceptance prior to final turnover of project to Asset.
  • Support other OR&A deliverables.
  • Others as required by the Project deliverables.

Requirements:

Technical
  • Engineering degree or equivalent higher technical qualification.
  • Seasoned (+10 years) technical or operations professionals with a background in either production/ maintenance operations, asset management, technical safety and/or project supervision (e.g., commissioning/turn around) with demonstrable experience in the areas of interest to the job
  • Sound knowledge and work experience in delivering OR&A objectives would be an advantage.
  • Experienced in offshore and/or onshore operations and/or project experience is desired.
  • Previous project experience within an OR&A role is desired.
  • Sound knowledge in Risk Assessment and Risk Matrix process.
  • Experienced Audit Team Lead or at minimum as Audit Team Member.

  • Competent to lead or participate in complex studies or processes with other disciplines.

  • In addition, experience of working in a multicultural environment would be an advantage.
