Overview:

Our client is aseeking a Maintenance Technician in Lloydminster.
As a key contributor within our Maintenance Base, the Mechanical Technician plays a critical role in ensuring the reliable and timely delivery of operational equipment. This role is essential to maintaining the performance, integrity, and cost-effectiveness of our product line assets. By executing maintenance activities with precision and supporting continuous improvement initiatives, the Mechanical Technician helps reduce nonproductive time and elevate team productivity.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Execute maintenance tasks in accordance with established programs and the Reliability-Centered Maintenance (RCM) strategy, ensuring full compliance via the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) and standard operating procedures.
  • Maintain accurate, timely records in the Technology Lifecycle Management (TLM) systems, capturing data such as labor hours, materials used, equipment performance, work orders, and movement history.
  • Uphold all TLM Product Line standards and ensure adherence to organizational maintenance protocols.
  • Actively contribute to a culture of continuous improvement by supporting initiatives aimed at optimizing asset utilization and reducing the cost of service delivery (CoSD).
  • Drive improvements in asset turnaround time through efforts that minimize maintenance downtime, streamline repair processes, and reduce work-in-progress bottlenecks.
  • Collaborate with fellow Maintenance Technicians to identify and implement strategies that enhance efficiency, reduce delays, and boost productivity.
  • Support the execution of CoSD projects, including initiatives focused on the planned repair and reuse of equipment components.
  • Participate in technical investigations related to equipment failures, providing insights that contribute to long-term reliability improvements.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development by complying with the TLM Competency Management System and maintaining up-to-date technical knowledge and skills.
