Mechanical Fitter - 2/2 Roster

NESFircroft are seeking experienced Fixed Plant Mechanical Fitters to join the team, on a 2/2 roster. 
  • Must be looking for a long term role
  • Well known Tier 1 mining client
  • $65 per hr + Super
  • Wet plant experience preferred
  • 6 - 9 month initial contract, opportunity for permanency. 
Day to day: 
  • Daily inspections, repairs, and maintenance of fixed plant equipment
  • Maintain assets such as Cone Crushers, conveyors, pumps, valves, mills, screens, filter belts and more.
  • Workshop and pit duties as required
  • Follow safe systems of work
  • working alongside operations and electrical teams to ensure efficient running of the plant 
Qualifications:
  • Cert III Mechanical Engineering Trade certificate 
  • Strong focus on safety
  • Understanding of SAP preferred but not essential
  • Must obtain C class license
  • Welding experince ideal but not essential 
  • White card essential, must be happy to obtain
