The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to join a leading pharmaceutical manufacturer in Lane Cove, Sydney. This role is pivotal in ensuring equipment and systems operate at peak performance to maintain uninterrupted manufacturing processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform preventive maintenance on equipment and critical systems.
- Diagnose and resolve equipment breakdowns efficiently.
- Analyse and report root causes of faults, implementing solutions to prevent recurrence.
- Coordinate repair activities with external service providers as required.
- Maintain accurate records and within a cGMP-compliant environment.
To excel in this role, you will need:
- A trade qualification and at least 3 years of maintenance experience.
- Minimum 2 years' experience in a pharmaceutical or regulated manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of cGMP or equivalent standards.
- Familiarity with systems such as purified water, boilers, autoclaves, and packaging equipment.
- Proficiency in CMMS and basic computerised control systems.
- Strong communication skills to build and maintain professional relationships.
