Water Treatment
25 hours/week
Shift: This is a part time job; 7:30 AM to 1:00 PM (most testing days may only take 2-4 hours)
Contract Length: 3 months - potential to extend
DESCRIPTION:
Water samples will be taken from the water softeners and from the boiler.
Basic water chemistry tests will be run (we will train on each and instructions will be listed in a notebook).
Actions will be taken with pumps and valves based on these test results.
The test results and actions will be entered into a log sheet.
Required: High School Diploma
Transferable skills: someone who has worked for a home water treatment company (like a Culligan) or someone who has installed pools/worked for a pool company that has had experience in testing and adding treatment to get water to appropriate ratios would do well in this role.
This role would have some training and support to start, but will ultimately be in a solo role. Guides will be provided on how to fix water/chemical ratio- so there is not too much guesswork in how to fix the chemical to water ratio based on the water tests conducted.
