Job Title: Maintenance Scheduler (Jr – Intermediate) – 3-7 years experience
Location: Calgary, AB (15% travel to site)
Schedule: Mon – Fri, 40 hours / week
Contract Length: 9 months
The successful candidate will work closely with Planners, Operations, and Maintenance to drive the most efficient use of resources. In addition to the organization, this position will work closely with other entities such as contractors, suppliers, and vendors. Within organization this position interacts and coordinates between multiple stakeholders, including but not limited to Maintenance, Operations, Reliability, Engineering, Construction Management, Contracts Administration, and Procurement. The successful candidate will be a subject matter expert in use of the SAP PM module and experience using Prometheus Scheduler is an asset.
Accountabilities and End Results:
• Lead schedule review meetings to ensure prioritization, optimization of resources, and minimizing downtime through bundling of work.
• Optimize resource utilization through resource levelling and grouping work by location.
• Ensuring all materials required to carry out work order activities are available before scheduling work.
• The incumbent will work closely with the Montney Maintenance Electrical/Instrumentation and Mechanical Technicians as well as maintenance coordinators
• Will also work closely with the Electrical/Instrumentation and Mechanical Planner to ensure coordination of Instrument, Electrical, and Mechanical work orders on the same equipment and/or systems.
Primary Functions:
• Coordinate schedule development with Planners, Maintenance, Operations, and others as required.
• Utilize the SAP PM Module and Prometheus Scheduler to create weekly 1+3 Week plan and 7 day locked schedule.
• Work closely with the Maintenance Technicians and Planners on communicating work details and ensuring that all resources (manpower and materials) are available when scheduling the work.
• Lead the Life Saving Rule verification and safety callout discussions in the weekly 7-day locked schedule meeting.
• Establish and maintain thorough knowledge of the capabilities of external service providers.
• Steward continuous focus on cost and value optimization in alignment with the Production Operations strategies.
• Work with field leadership to determine priority of activities to enable scheduling of work.
• Identify gaps in SAP Master Data compliance as per the M&R Master Data Standards (e.g., accurate asset register, equipment static data, functional location records, work centres, cost centres including data related to maintenance plans) and take required action to address issues.
• Provide input into the improvement and optimization of PM Plans.
• Work with Supply Chain personnel for material and vendor (service) requirements
• Ensure that all required material, company labor, and contract services are available to execute work when scheduling the work.
• Identify, prioritize, implement, and support continuous improvement opportunities related to SAP and data analysis.

Critical Skills:
• Experience in maintenance scheduling processes
• Maintenance Planning an asset
• Experience with SAP PM & MM modules
• Experience using Prometheus Scheduler is an asset
• Strong PC skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Exceptional interpersonal and leadership skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment as well as independently
• Strong organizational and time management skills

Reporting Relationships:
• This position reports to the Planning and Scheduling Supervisor.

Qualifications:
• 5+ years Oil &/or Gas experience
• 3+ years Maintenance scheduling experience
