Currently seeking a Maintenance Planning and Reliability Superintendent for an initial 3-6 month contract position based on site in Northern Territory.

Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, this role will act as the unit leader to ensure the maintenance and reliability projects stay on track to successful outcomes.

About the role:
Based on site in Northern Territory with flexible FIFO roster options, your main job responsibilities will include but not limited to:
  • Manage the site asset register of approx. 900x mobile and ancillary equipment
  • Decommissioning gear no longer required.
  • Input to capital plans for priority and replacement timing, guiding business case development etc.
  • Weekly reporting on plant and equipment availability, tracking to targets, investigation of shortfalls etc.
  • Supporting the process of tracking forecasts with the relevant Execution Superintendents as well as developing the next periodic Reforecast if needed.
  • Managing the maintenance projects covering all aspects from Mining Fleets, Concentrator, Port, Power Station and transmission network, and Township.

About You:
As the successful candidate you will possess the following:
  • Tertiary Qualifications in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or similar
  • Strong working experience with maintenance of fixed and mobile equipment in the Mining Industry including Fleets, Concentrator, Port, Power Station and transmission network
  • Understanding risk assessment and ability to apply change management
  • Ability to collaborate, influence and work with site based operational teams
