🌍 Role Overview
We are supporting a major LNG EPC program and are looking for an experienced Maintenance Engineer to support the development and execution of Maintenance Engineering activities throughout the project lifecycle.
Reporting to the O&M Manager, you will contribute to the definition, review, and implementation of Maintenance Engineering deliverables, ensuring full compliance with contractual requirements and industry best practices. A key part of the role involves active participation in FMECA and RCM workshops with both the Client and subcontractors.
This position requires strong technical expertise in maintenance engineering, solid communication skills, and proven experience in complex, multi‑disciplinary Oil & Gas project environments.

📐 Home Office Activities
- Support the O&M Manager in supervising the Maintenance Engineering scope of work for the EPC project.
- Actively participate in and contribute to FMECA / RCM workshops with the Client and subcontractors.
- Review and provide comments on all Maintenance Engineering deliverables, including but not limited to:
- Asset Criticality Studies
- RCM Reports
- Lubrication Registers and Schedules
- Maintenance Procedures and associated Spare Parts
- Condition‑Based Maintenance strategies
- Lifecycle Cost Models
- Asset Registers
- Maintenance Manuals
- Ensure completeness, consistency, and accuracy of maintenance data for the new LNG liquefaction train.
- Verify data consistency across all maintenance‑related deliverables.
- Review vendor maintenance manuals and technical documentation.
- Interface with Engineering, Operations, and Process teams as required.
- Participate in multi‑disciplinary coordination meetings, both internal and external.
- Contribute to the development and improvement of O&M methodologies when required.
- Supervise maintenance activities on site and ensure full traceability of all maintenance work carried out on live systems prior to PAC.
- Ensure oil top‑up activities are completed before PAC.
- Interface with CPY, vendors, and subcontractors as required.
- Actively promote and ensure compliance with all HSE requirements and responsibilities.
- Monitor and follow up on consumables and materials to guarantee operational performance during the interim operations period.
- Play an active role in emergency response leadership and work management, including Permit‑to‑Work systems and associated procedures.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proven experience in Maintenance Engineering is mandatory (experience within a MIEC organisation is a strong asset).
- Demonstrated proficiency in RCM processes (mandatory).
- Excellent written and spoken English (mandatory).
- Recognised technical qualification appropriate for the position.
- Engineering degree with hands‑on experience in operational maintenance activities.
- Structured and methodological approach to maintenance execution.
- Ability to operate effectively within multi‑disciplinary, integrated project teams.
- 10+ years of combined experience in Oil & Gas maintenance operations and project environments (LNG experience is a strong advantage).
- Engineering degree in Maintenance Management or equivalent discipline.
- Significant experience in Maintenance Engineering development, preferably within a MIEC framework.
- Practical experience conducting RCM processes, ideally within multi‑disciplinary workshops.
- Working knowledge of troubleshooting operational issues and process upsets.
- Good command of CMMS systems, with SAP experience highly preferred.
- Previous experience in LNG operations and maintenance is considered a strong asset.
