Role:
Lubricants Field Support Engineer – India
Location - Mumbai (India)
Contract is for one year with possible extension
Responsible for:
- Provide technical support to customers including product recommendation and used oil analysis support.
- Establish technical partnership with key accounts.
- Prepare lube chart, plant/equipment audits, lubrication surveys, product rationalization audits and conduct field trials and proof of performance to support overall business strategy.
- Work closely with Sales Managers to ensure alignment with overall sales strategy.
- Tailor and conduct training for Commercial and Industrial customers.
- Perform Field Visits and On-site Lubricants Related Technical Services. [Respond to Lead gen, RFQ’s, take opportunities through the sales process, ensure execution of after sales services]
- Manage deserving sales opportunities through the Chevron Sales Process and ensure actions are executed and documented at each phase.
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering
- 2-3 years Engineering Experience in Automotive or Industrial Engineering Roles
- Fresh Engineering Graduates are acceptable to apply.
- Prior experience in a technical (lubricants and machinery) environment, coupled with comparable technical background skills will be an added advantage.
- Strong presentation and interpersonal skills.
- Initiative-taking and Willing to Learn, independent driven, and good collaborator. Thinking creatively to solve problems and with good report writing skills.
- Travel around the country will be a requirement.
- Excellent command of MS Office Suite.
- Excellent command of English language both written and oral.
