Exciting new Supply Chain opportunity! 2/2 rotational schedule in the Dallas area. 

MAIN FUNCTIONS
•    Work in-country to manage the Wells material and logistics processes. Serve as Logistics interface between Logistics Manager/Lead and Contractor organization to ensure logistics execution. Interface between Wells, Vendors, and Suppliers. Provide Logistics and Materials Management support for Wells.

TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
•    Initial point of contact for Well Site Supervisors to dispatch identified services and products from suppliers in an accurate, timely, and reliable manner.
•    Accurately logs all call in/emailed requests into tracking system for response actions, recording any dialogue with suppliers.
•    Sends confirmation to requesting well site supervisors related to required actions, actions taken, or dispatch details. 
•    Interface with procurement to understand and influence contracting, materials management, logistics plan for deliveries and customs procedures
•    Develop an understanding of local transport and in-country logistics capabilities and capacities
•    Strong understanding of the capabilities and limitations of Logistics Contractors
•    Interface with Logistics Manager/Lead to keep them informed of the qualifications and capabilities of relevant Contractors
•    Interface with Contractors to ensure safety, quality, availability, and reliability of logistics execution
•    Identify, qualify, and endorse vendor support infrastructure
•    General knowledge of local and national environmental and regulatory requirements
•    Interface with other Logistics Coordinators, Leads, Advisors and project planning teams to understand and resolve logistics issues
•    Verify that the delivery documentation is complete, consistent and adequate and in accordance with the PO terms
•    Ensure that the materials specification delivered by the vendor is according to PO terms
•    Create material receipts in ERP systems as applicable 
•    Track and complete material transfers in ERP systems as applicable
•    Create a file and maintain adequate records of each major transaction/shipment/PO
•    Schedule and maintain shipments, internal and external
•    Field incoming calls and emails, responding appropriately and timely to customer inquiries
•    Enter orders received verbally and via fax/email into the computer system
•    Attend planning and prioritization meetings with high level customers
•    Proactively forecasts & Orders material and services to support the wells operations 

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
•    Experience in logistics planning and execution, construction, safety, and procurement
•    BS in Engineering, Construction Management, or other Technical degree
•    Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
•    General computer knowledge with intermediate skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint required.
•    Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
•    Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
•    Willing to business travel (domestic/overseas) to project sites to provide functional support
•    Able to work day or night shift, and Able to rotate shift assignment on regular monthly basis
•    General computer knowledge with intermediate skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint required.
•    Possesses a good understanding of service and product application
•    Good interpersonal skills, customer service attitude, and attention to detail in documenting all dispatch activities within the scope of the supporting systems
