Currently recruiting on behalf of an Internation Renewables Operator for a Lead Planner to join the Project Controls team within their Offshore Wind department. The Lead Planner shall be responsible for all the scheduling, planning and progress measurement activities for a 400MW Offshore Wind project in Europe. During the pre-FID phase of the project focusing on engineering, surveys, preparation for permit application, early commitment planning, financing and readiness for FID.

Role Responsibilities
 
  • To develop, implement and maintain procedures, means and tools in order to ensure the efficient organization and operation of the scheduling, progress control and reporting activities.
  • To assist in defining (and updating as necessary) a suitable Work Breakdown Structure complying with Project needs in terms of progress control, cost control and reporting, for all phases of the Project.
  • To develop, update and revise the overall integrated Project Schedules as required by Project Management, and to provide analysis and simulations of new and/or alternative execution model schedules as required.
  • To organize, co-ordinate, supervise and control all the planning activities during the Development phase, by regularly informing, supporting and advising the Project Management team.
  • To assist Packages to prepare respective package progress measurement system definition and follow-up requirements, review and comment contractors' procedures and proposed schedules, scheduling and progress control methodology, and to check and approve contractors' progress measurement and progress reports.
  • To define (and update as necessary) a suitable Monthly Report structure complying with the Project management needs.
  • The development of detailed and accurate Project Monthly Report / Project Weekly Report (and any other report as requested) during all phases of Project.
  • Assist in preparation of, and coordinate integration of the reporting issued after Weekly / Monthly Project Meetings and all Management meetings as required.
  • In a general manner, to provide assistance to the Project Management for all matters related to scheduling and progress reporting and general reporting, and to manage all activities related to scheduling and reporting.
  • To timely report to the Project Management Officer, highlighting progress and encountered areas of concern.
  • To ensure and impose strict confidentiality for all the scheduling and progress measurement related documentation produced (whatever its support)
  • To gather 'lessons learnt' with respect to to scheduling, progress control and reporting matters and provide feedback to other TotalEnergies Renewables and Offshore Wind Entities
  • The service provider will provide support to other PMO functions. This includes supporting both the Cost Control Lead and the Risk Manager where relevant.

In addition, the service provider shall liaise actively with all the Project team members for all scheduling and progress measurement related activities, shall observe and shall impose strict confidentiality during the tendering phase and as a general manner all along the course of the Project, shall demonstrate an exemplary behaviour in complying with the Company Ethics and “Code of Conduct” policy.

Role Requirements
 
  • Advanced expertise in complex offshore project planning.
  • Expertise is required in major project developments, with partners, and reporting interfaces.
  • Knowledgeable and expertise with Scheduling / progress control techniques & tools; Multi-discipline engineering/project planning; interaction with Contractors; excellent communication skills.
  • Requires team spirit with ability to work closely with various stakeholders including but not limited to diverse international teams.
  • Expertise with planning tools: MS Word, MS Excel and PRIMAVERA, MS Project required, LEAN Six-Sigma & PowerBI preferred.
  • Expertise of Industry and/or TotalEnergies Planning and Reporting rules/procedures.
  • Ability to take ownership of projects and tasks, work independently and follow through on assignments with minimal direction.
  • English speaking is mandatory for this role.
