Our client is seeking a Lead Mechanical Engineer to join their team based in Brisbane CBD. This role can be offered as either permanent or on contract depending on your preference.
In this role you lead technical efforts on projects, ensuring alignment with project objectives and requirements, as well as:
- Ensure design tasks and deliverables meets project standards and monitoring budget and schedule in conjunction with the project manager
- Execute mechanical engineering tasks across various projects, including equipment selection, conveying, material transfer, DEM, pumping, and piping
- Prepare technical engineering documents as part of project deliverables and collaborating with other disciplines and designers to develop comprehensive designs
About you:
- Minimum 10 years’ experience in engineering for the mining and resources sector.
- Experience with bulk materials handling, slurry handling, and project management.
- Ability to produce calculations and design documentation, with practical experience in construction, commissioning, and/or operations.
- Ability to work across multiple disciplines, including civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, and process controls.
