MAIN ACTIVITIES / RESPONSIBILITIES
• Provide support for CAPEX project management by developing robust, safe, and efficient electrical and automation concepts for business cases, feasibility studies and tender documents.
• Evaluate plant KPIs and assist CAPEX project management in establishing accurate production and investment cost estimates for business cases and feasibility studies.
• Aid in the preparation and evaluation of tenders to identify the most cost-effective and technically sound solutions for Group Companies.
• Review key documents in the detailed engineering design phase, ensuring compliance with design criteria, safety standards, feasibility, maintainability, cost-effectiveness in production and investment, and durability.
• Offer technical support in qualifying global suppliers in electrical engineering, power distribution and drive systems.
• Monitor the supplier landscape and maintain strong relationships with key equipment and service suppliers.
• Assist CAPEX project management with quality control and inspections of electrical systems.
• Oversee the execution of electrical aspects in CAPEX projects.
• Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of standard design criteria.
• Apply and continuous improvement of various tools like eDM (electronic Document Management), IBS (Investment Breakdown Structure).
• Provide occasional support during the commissioning phase.
• Participating and contributing to round table experience exchanges (E-Circle).



PROFILE REQUIRED
  • Level of education/qualifications normally required:
  • University degree in electrical/automation Engineering. 
  • Min. 5 years professional experience in CAPEX projects.

Technical / functional skills:
  • Good knowledge in engineering standards and tools. 
  • Experience in the cement manufacturing sector.
  • Knowledge in project management.

Linguistic skills:
  • Able to professionally communicate in English.
  • Any language widely spoken in the group is a plus.

  • Occasional travels in the field, plants or job sites across the world. Open to travel to areas that could have adverse living conditions, limited infrastructure and accessibility.
