NES Fircroft are currently partnering with Global resourcing client within their mineral research and development team as they are looking to source additional Laboratory Technician resources for their Perth based team.
Benefits
- Hourly rate of 45 per hour + super depending on background and experience
- Central Perth location
- Long term contract opportunity within an innovative research and development team for a global resourcing company
- Excellent onboarding experience and regular aftercare as an NES Fircroft contractor
- Bachelor’s degree in relevant scientific field (material science, chemistry or physics)
- Demonstrated experience in a laboratory environment in chemistry, mineral processing, electrochemistry or materials science
- Excellent communication skills and a high level of initiative
- High level of MS Office and analytical equipment software experience
- Currently located in Perth, WA with full Australian working rights
Job Role
- Performance of qualitative/quantitative analysis and sample characterization
- Maintenance and cleaning of laboratory, equipment and supplies
- Conducting of experimental testing/analysis ensuring correct operating procedures are adhered too
- Interpret and report on relevant data, ensuring all reports are maintained through data management software
- Provide support to key stakeholders across the Lab (scientists, engineers and broader R&D team)
- Support improvement and cost reduction projects
- Written and verbal reporting to relevant teams
