Role Summary:
As an Intercompany Analyst, you are responsible for driving technical accounting compliance, maintaining the accuracy of books and records, financial and operational internal controls, process simplification, and operational excellence to deliver accurate actual financial reporting and analysis on intercompany processes. Understands concepts, methods, procedures and approaches. Duties involved ensuring counter-parties balances on Due to/from are reconciled against the general ledger, subledger and intercompany reports, resolving disputes with counterparties and maintaining the books and records accuracy and integrity.

Essential Responsibilities:
• Performing month-end closing activities to ensure recording of journal entries and to meet business deadlines and requirements
• Working with the Intercompany Receivables, Payables invoices, , purchase orders and reconciliation of Intercompany invoices
• Preparing, posting and running reports to share information required for month-end reports and deadlines
• Identifying and solving backlog issues to ensure daily tasks are completed on-time.
• Providing monthly, quarterly, financial data and reviews to share with internal finance teams and to support internal auditing
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to provide support and guidance for financial activities.
• Supporting Internal and External Audit deliverables including review and approve assigned reconciliations, driving resolution of open items and unreconciled accounts.

Qualifications/Requirements:
• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting / Finance or equivalent
• 2-5 years of experience dealing in financial accounting
• Possess strong analytical skills with proactive mindset, with the ability to bring expert advice and problem-solving skills to the team
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with good spoken and written English
• Ability to work both alone and as part of a diverse cultural team
• Be proficient in MS Office with a focus on Excel and Outlook

Desired Characteristics:
• ACCA/CIMA/CPA/CA or equivalent professional qualification is an advantage
• Experience in Shared Service will be added advantage
• A proven ability to work as part of multi-disciplinary teams and to build and maintain network within and outside Payroll Accounting
• Possess positive thinking and attitude, professionalism, takes ownership of and accountability of the work product.
• Self-starter with ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines
• Team-player and customer-centric attitude
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Computer literate with good knowledge of Microsoft Office and computerized accounting software, knowledge in SAP or Oracle will be added advantage
