Job Title: Integrated Scheduler
Location: Calgary, AB
Contract Length: 12 months
Schedule: Mon – Fri, 40 hours/week


Purpose:
The Integrated Scheduler works closely with the Integrated Planner, Execution Scheduler and functional areas (e.g., Operations, Maintenance, Asset Integrity, Engineering, Projects, Drilling, Completions, Turnaround, Production Delivery Centre, etc.) within the 60 - 29 day time frame to provide one prioritized and resource forecasted Integrated Schedule that reflects all work to be performed at the facility. The role through application of the Integrated Planning processes ensures all prioritized work meets gate criteria and ultimately can enter the Execution Schedule (28 - 0 days).

The Integrated Scheduler is responsible for grouping work to optimize resources, minimize production impacts, and ensuring the timely scheduling of all work including relevant PM and CM. These efforts support the ongoing safe, compliant, and reliable production from our facilities.

Accountabilities and End Results:

• Facilitate 60 day - 29 day Integrated Schedule processes and meetings.
• Communicate and collaborate with all applicable stakeholders in the Field and Calgary when preparing schedules to proactively identify opportunities for optimization in support of safety, optimized resource allocation, and production.
• Maintain 60 day – 29 day schedule with updates from Maintenance Scheduler on work requiring re-scheduling.
• Ensure that all prioritized and optimized activities are captured in the 60 day – 29 day Integrated Schedule and meet 28 day gate criteria for entry into the Execution Schedule (28 days – 0 days).
• Work collaboratively with the Integrated Planner, Integrated Execution Scheduler and key stakeholders to continuously improve Integrated Planning processes, reports, visualizations, metrics, compliance, understanding and outcomes.
• Support development and reporting of Integrated Planning KPI’s.




Primary Functions:

• Facilitate and deliver Integrated Schedule (60 day – 29 days).
• Work closely with Integrated Planner and Execution Scheduler to ensure seamless flow of projects from Integrated Plan and ultimately into the Execution Schedule.
• Consult with Operations, Maintenance, Production Delivery Centre, to validate priority for preliminary schedule resource loading.
• Complete functional group scheduling for maintenance for inclusion into the Integrated Schedule (e.g., relevant CM, PMs, minor outage schedules such as OTSGs, RPM, MOC, etc.)
• Mentor and support all departments executing work for Operations in Integrated Planning Processes, to ensure consistent, efficient and accurate application of Integrated Planning processes.
• Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities.
• Subject matter expert for the Business Unit’s Integrated Planning Workflow Processes. Support any changes to IP process to ensure alignment with Business Unit and Global Standards.
• Support the development and reporting of Business Unit Integrated Planning KPI’s.
• Provide coverage as required for Integrated Planner and Execution Scheduler

Critical Skills:

• Strong computer skills (MS products – Word; Excel; Project; PowerPoint)
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Prior Planning and Scheduling with Continuous Improvement experience.
• Team player with the ability to act as a mentor / coach and provide Integrated planning processes, and tool training for all personnel contributing to Integrated plans.
• Exceptional interpersonal, collaboration and leadership skills
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to lead effective meetings.
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Strong working knowledge of SAP, Prometheus STO, and Primavera P6 scheduling modules
• Strong knowledge of Maintenance, and Integrated planning & scheduling


Reporting Relationships:
• This position reports to the Planning and Optimization Director.

Challenges:
• Full and compliant application of Integrated Planning Processes by all functional groups within Business Unit.

Qualifications:
• Minimum 10 – 15 years of Maintenance Scheduling experience.
• Minimum 5 – 10 years SAGD / Oil & gas, and field experience.
• Formal training and certification in SAP PM, Prometheus STO, and Primavera P6 systems.
