Location - Seraing, Belgium

- The HSE Inspector will provide Health, Safety, Environment Energy supervision on construction and commissioning activities with delegation from the Site Construction Manager

- Deliver HSE induction to contractor’s new comers (except for EPC). Attend to some inductions performed by EPC contractor.
- Promote HSE prevention towards workers
- Participate in and prepare reviews of Method of statements prepared by contractor, and HSE management procedures prepared by EPC. Comments them when required.
- Be most of the time on site for HSE inspections based on control plan and issue associated reports (good practices and deviation).
- Support the HSE Coordinator to ensure the requirements of the HSE policies are implemented as required to facilitate the project.
- Report to HSE coordinator information coming from site in order to define related action plans
- Report to HSE coordinator input data in order to elaborate and follow-up the HSEE performances and statistics and support HSE coordinator to ensure that main figures are aligned between parties.
- The HSEe inspector will demonstrate strong involvment to mobilize all site works’ stakeholders for the commitment with the “Zero harm” policies
- Together with the HSE coordinator, HSE manager, Site construction manager, CTO and Construction Team, the HSE inspector will ensure that adequate HSE policies and good practices are implemented on site.
- Strong proven experience as HSE inspector for large scale projects (ideally Combined cycle power plants/gas power plants
- Experience with multi-disciplinary site works and EPC contractors set-up
