Role Summary:
The Global Tax Center Team provides Tax services to the legal entities operated by Baker Hughes across the world in partnership with the controllership, product company and other stakeholders.

As a GTC Tax analyst, you will support various tax jurisdictions globally across 120 countries to manage the withholding tax certificate collection, tax reconciliation, and aged balance management.

Essential Responsibilities: -
  • Reporting to Tax Lead, working with the other Tax Analysts for customer withholding tax certificate collection process.
  • Able to extract, analyze, and review data and make appropriate recommendations.
  • Good analytical, organization and communication skills. Able to manage end-to-end pending certificates efficiently and effectively with various stakeholders.
  • Reconciling all pending WHT certificate tax accounts monthly and any other duties as required.
  • Resolving or escalating any queries or issues received with minimum supervision.
  • Strong computer skills including Microsoft Excel and Word (Oracle Oscar, Oracle Pascal, SAP P31, SAP BH1 is a plus)

Qualifications/Requirements: -
  • Have bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Audit, or related field. Professional qualification ACCA/CIMA/CPA/CA or equivalent is an advantage.
  • Have minimum 3 years Tax experience for any tax jurisdiction.
  • Possess good analytical skills with proactive mind-set, with the ability to bring good advice and problem-solving skills to the team.

  • Demonstrate good interpersonal and communication skills, with good spoken and written English.
  • Be results oriented, self-motivated and have the ability to work solo and remotely.
