Grinding and Milling Maintenance Engineer

Are you an experienced Maintenance Engineer with expertise in grinding and milling systems? We have an exciting opportunity for you to join a Tier 1 Mining Operator in Papua New Guinea! This FIFO (Fly-In-Fly-Out) role is ideal for someone ready to start immediately and take on a pivotal role in maintaining and optimizing critical mining equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform regular maintenance and troubleshooting on grinding and milling fixed assets.
• Ensure high levels of safety and efficiency in equipment operations.
• Coordinate with the on-site team to develop and implement maintenance schedules.
• Identify and solve operational challenges to reduce downtime and improve overall productivity.
• Provide technical expertise to minimize equipment wear and tear.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in the maintenance of grinding and milling systems within the mining sector.
• Familiarity with industry standards and best practices.
• Previous experience in a FIFO role is preferred.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a high-pressure environment.
• Flexibility for a FIFO schedule, typically rostered in Papua New Guinea.
• Knowledge in SAP
• Preferable Point-Of-Hire - Australia
