General Manager

Our client seeks a General Manager to oversee the Thailand Food laboratory operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for formulating and executing strategies aimed at sustainably increasing business revenue and profitability. Additionally, the role involves planning, directing, and managing all functions within the business unit, ensuring the provision of high-quality and cost-efficient services to clients while meeting all financial, compliance, operational, and contractual objectives.

Responsibilities:

• Managing day-to-day operations
• Delegating roles and responsibilities to teams
• Driving performance towards business goals
• Tracking and assessing the performance of teams
• Managing timelines for successful and timely delivery of duties
• Developing and justifying vertical-specific budgets
• Overseeing resource allocation while maintaining budgetary control
• Enforcing business policies, procedures, and processes
• Ensuring adherence to legal and administrative guidelines
• Resolving internal and external conflicts through mediation
• Forging deals with internal and external partners

Qualifications:

• A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field accompanied by over 10 years of professional experience in the Testing, Inspection, and Certification (TIC) sector or the Food and Beverage industry is required.
• The candidate should possess a robust sales background with a proven history of driving and expanding sales.
• Additionally, extensive experience in people management and employee relations is essential.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities are necessary, along with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Able to converse in Thai and English at the business level due to the location and customers.
