FOPS Safety / Commissioning Interface Leader

NES Fircroft are delighted to be working with a major Oil & Gas Operator who are currently recruiting a FOPS Safety / Commissioning Interface Leader. 

Activities:

• The job holder on behalf FOPS team act as safety and commissioning activities referent. 
• The job holder ensures FPSO design is in accordance with Project HSE minimum requirement and can be safely operated. He ensures adequate contractor preparation in term of HSE management system implementation. He reviews HSE deviation request on behalf of FOPS. 
• The job holder in relation with start up leader ensures interface with commissioning to secure First oil date as well as minimize start up flaring. 
• The job holder prepares and coordinate FOPS commissioning surveillance plan with startup leader. 
• The job holder assists the Field Operations production leader, in all the activities related to Field Operations Production and Methods, this including: Flow Assurance, Well Performance, Production Engineering, Process, Chemical Treatment & Laboratory and FO Management System. As such, the job holder shall ensure that all engineering and development works related to these domains are developed in such a manner that all future operations of the FPSO and subsea systems will be performed in a safe, environment friendly and cost effective manner and that production installations will be operable, maintainable and reliable.

The job holder’s main missions are: 

• To lead safety review on behalf of FOPS 

• To lead contractor HSE management system preparation and implementation 
• To lead commissioning sequence and procedures review on behalf of FOPS 
• To prepare the FOPS commissioning surveillance plan and strategy
