We are working with Woodside, recruiting for a Finance Business Partner to join them on a 6-month contract. This Finance Business Partner roles are within the Australian Business Finance team, specifically in the teams that support Northwest Shelf Gas, Non-Operator assets and FPSOs.

Duties & Responsibilities:
  • The North West Shelf Business Unit to support the onshore activities at the Karratha Gas Plant.
  • The Bass Strait & Wheatstone Business Unit to support the non-operator assets
  • The FPSO/Macedon/Aus Ops Support Business Unit to support the FPSO assets
  • Support the business across all their activities, providing routine and non-routine analysis that underpins financial recommendations/outcomes
  • Preparation and presentation of management reports including analysis & commentary on monthly financial performance against budget and forecast for both internal and JV stakeholders.
  • Coordinate the annual enterprise plan and quarterly forecasting processes and provide analysis to support internal and JV approvals as appropriate.
  • Key focal point for cost saving initiatives in line with the Finance roles within in the VIP / Performance Edge process.
  • Support the business requirements including reviewing business proposals and AFE preparation/approvals, contracts reviews and guidance on Woodside’s MOA
  • Provide accounting guidance to the business including compliance with relevant accounting standards and expenditure approval processes
  • Assist in developing and implementing financial business process improvements
  • Work collaboratively with other Finance teams and business stakeholders to drive financial performance and deliver insights by understanding costs and value drivers
Experience Required:
  • Demonstrate commitment to and alignment with the Woodside Values
  • Undergraduate/post-graduate degree in a relevant discipline
  • An ability to work independently, prioritise varying demands and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Understanding of the costing process, residuals, recoveries and rates and how they impact the business
  • Strong financial and commercial analytical skills
