Field Technician - 3 month Contract

The Role
You will be supporting the Exploration Geology team to install some down hole equipment
working across a variety of remote sites

• 2:1 roster
• 3 month contract

 
Duties Include:

• Installing Pizos into the ground.
• Working with a truck mounted crane
• Extensive driving around the outback.

Additional Duties may include:

• Daily escorts of team members through the Autonomous Operating Zone.
• Sample logging and collection.
• Daily Acquire data entry and updating of trackers
• Dispatch of sample bulka bags to offsite laboratories
• Assessment of work area accesses and signage requirements.
• Entry and closure of identified hazards in BMS.
• Liaise with mining departments regarding assistance with any Resource Definition projects.
• Pre-Starts & maintenance of vehicles by ensuring thorough fault reporting and on-time vehicle delivery to the workshop.
• Stock-take and monitoring of all office and drilling consumables.
• Assist Field Supervisor with day-to-day tasks.
• General forklift loading/unloading.
• Completion or handover of tasks to incoming crew.

Requirements

• HR Driving Licence
• Dogging Ticket
• Operating a 4WD competency.
• Current first aid.
• Able and confident working in remote Pilbara conditions.
