As Aker Solutions’ global recruitment partner NES Advantage are now looking for: Field Engineer - Structural in Sandnessjøen who can help us succeed.
Aker Solutions take care of energy assets in a Life Cycle perspective. From the start to end of production Aker Solutions ensures safe operations, optimizes field utilization, and enables field life-extensions. We do business development and execute modifications and maintenance projects. There is a global trend towards decarbonization, and we aim to help our customers to decarbonize their operations and measure their emissions to manage them more efficiently, for instance by delivering brownfield electrification of existing offshore facilities. Now we explore opportunities in the aftermarket for renewables, to deliver offshore maintenance for the renewable sector when the market is ready. Aker Solutions employs approximately 11,000 people in more than 20 countries.

What will you be doing?
- Assist the production with solving of the technical problems which could occur during the execution of building- or installation work at a construction site
- Position will also cover piping field engineering
Qualifications we think you should have:
- Do you have MSc, BSc, Technical College, or other relevant education and experience
- Assist the production with solving of the technical problems which could occur during the execution of building- or installation work at a construction site
- Assist the production with interpretation of drawings and job basis
- Prepare work basis and documentation for technical solutions in cooperation with the shop engineering
- Establish TC (Technical Clarification) in MIPS
- Check location and installation are construction and HSSE friendly
- Close communication with work leader method, shop engineering, PRE, with more
- Close co-ordination with production
- Good knowledge to 3D/2D DAK-systems , MIPS and planning system
- Knowledge to applicable project documents, standards and code
- Available for work in Norway
- Good communicative skills in Norwegian and English and team player
