Job Description: Execution Coordinator III
Location: Halifax/Dartmouth, NS (Commute to Terminal)
Contract Duration: 6 months, with potential for extension
Schedule: Monday - Thursday, 10-hour days (Flexible)

Overview:
Our client is seeking a professional with a strong background in piping, valves, and some experience in electrical and instrumentation (E/I). The candidate will oversee the onloading of product from our terminal to ships, supporting the contractor during the project’s construction phase. The ideal candidate will have a trade background (millwrights, pipefitters, or E/I), prior leadership experience, and a focus on ensuring safety and compliance. This role offers schedule flexibility and potential for future projects after the initial 6-month contract.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and support the team in piping and valve operations, ensuring safe and efficient onloading of products to ships.
  • Collaborate with teams and other contractors to ensure project milestones are met.
  • Ensure safety protocols are strictly followed throughout the project, conducting regular safety checks and walk-downs.
  • Oversee the transfer of product from the terminal to trucks and ships, ensuring all systems are functioning as required.
  • Provide guidance and leadership in troubleshooting any issues related to piping, valves, or electrical/instrumentation systems.
  • Conduct inspections to verify that all components are prepared for onloading, ensuring adherence to operational and safety standards.
  • Offer mentorship and supervision to team members, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and safely.
Qualifications:
  • Retired professional with extensive trade background, such as millwright, pipefitter, or electrical/instrumentation.
  • Leadership experience in a construction or industrial environment, with a focus on safety and operational excellence.
  • Strong expertise in piping and valve systems, with some knowledge of E/I as an asset.
  • Experience in handling large-scale industrial projects, particularly in product transfer operations.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with contractors and ensure alignment with safety and project objectives.
Schedule & Flexibility:
  • Monday to Thursday, 10-hour days (40-hour workweek).
  • Flexibility in schedule based on project demands.
Contract Terms:
  • Initial contract for 6 months, with a project afterwards and potential for future projects following successful completion of the 2 initial projects
