Position Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Industrial Field Estimator to support multiple ongoing and upcoming projects across various industrial sites in South Louisiana. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in industrial construction or maintenance, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work independently in the field. This role requires frequent travel between job sites and close coordination with project managers, clients, and subcontractors. Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct on-site assessments and gather data for accurate cost estimation of industrial projects.
  • Prepare detailed estimates for labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractor services.
  • Collaborate with project managers and engineers to develop project scopes and budgets.
  • Review blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to determine project requirements.
  • Track and update estimates based on project changes or field conditions.
  • Maintain organized records of estimates, proposals, and supporting documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and site-specific protocols.
  • Travel regularly to various job sites across South Louisiana.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in industrial estimating, preferably in oil & gas, petrochemical, or heavy industrial sectors.
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and cost structures.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and estimating software (e.g.,Ineight, HeavyBid, RSMeans, or similar).
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents.
  • Active TWIC card is required.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience working in refineries, chemical plants, or similar industrial environments.
  • OSHA 10 or 30 certification.
  • Familiarity with South Louisiana industrial market and local contractors.
