NESFircroft are continuing to partner with an industry leading Power Cabling client actively sourcing for an Environmental Advisor to join an expanding team on their high profile onshore HVDC Project. The Advisor role will be construction site based in Durham, supervising and monitoring construction activities to ensure compliance with project plans and environmental / ecological good practice.
Please note the role has been assessed as inside IR35 (Umbrella and PAYE only)

Environmental Advisor
Duration: initial 12-month contract
Location: Durham
Candidate Requirements
- Degree / diploma or equivalent in Environment and / or Ecology
- Hold a valid CSCS or CCNSG Card
- At least 5 years’ experience as an ECoW / Advisor
- Hold membership with the Association of ECOW’s as an associate member or better (desirable)
- Have active Continual Professional Development as an ECoW / Advisor.
- Previously held ECoW positions on HVDC / Large Civil Projects
- Fully conversant in UK law, legislation and consenting (SEPA etc).
- Competent in ensuring compliance with Environmental Plans and Procedures at a site level.
- Experience in monthly Key Performance Indicator Reporting including waste and material data gathering.
- Must be client facing and feel comfortable monitoring tier contractors
- Must be proactive, self-motivated and work well in a team.
- Competent in the English language and Microsoft Office.
