Engineer - Piping - Fab. Iso Checker

 
As Aker Solutions’ global recruitment partner NES Advantage is now looking for: Engineer - Piping - Fab. Iso Checker with experience in onshore or offshore projects.
 
This position is led from Stord and is not a rotation
 
Aker Solutions’ New Build segment delivers oil & gas and renewables offshore developments and fabrication products, mainly focused on the Norwegian Continental Shelf and selective international markets. The segment is responsible for large EPCI projects, both within oil and gas and renewables, including business development and project execution, typically large topsides including fixed or floating substructures, onshore facilities, FPSOs offshore wind HVDC topside and jackets, offshore aquaculture floaters and decommissioning and recycling.
 
What will you be doing?

• Ensure correct implementation of the building method in piping fabrication.
• Verify "Construction Friendly Design" (FC-30103-W08-000-EN) in the 3D model.
• Ensure quality and punctuality of deliveries per project plans and procedures.
• Review Fabrication Isometric Drawings to meet requirements, focusing on the 3D model, P&IDs, line list, materials, fabrication method, and test definitions.
• Verify interfaces within and across disciplines (test, pipe support, EIT, mechanical, structure, etc.).
• Contribute to procedure improvements and continual improvement efforts.

Qualifications we think you should have:

• Bachelor’s degree, technical college, or relevant experience.
• Experience in design, drawing production, and checking for offshore projects.
• Strong knowledge of piping design, process plants, relevant procedures, equipment operation, maintenance, and material considerations.
• Proficient in 3D-CAD tools with a solid understanding of general computing.
