For our client, a fund-backed renewable energy company delivering one of the largest renewable energy projects in Poland, we are seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to join the Engineering team responsible for technical governance, grid compliance, and engineering validation across utility-scale developments.
The role is focused on coordinating and overseeing the full electrical scope within renewable energy project development, ensuring robust technical standards from early-stage design through grid connection, execution, and commissioning.

The role is focused on coordinating and overseeing the full electrical scope within renewable energy project development, ensuring robust technical standards from early-stage design through grid connection, execution, and commissioning.
Key responsibilities:
- Coordinate external designers and subcontractors throughout design development, including permitting‑related deliverables.
- Oversee the electrical scope for MV/HV systems, substations, cabling, and protection & control schemes.
- Support grid connection processes, technical assessments, and power system‑related documentation.
- Provide technical input during tendering and construction phases to ensure alignment with approved designs.
- Contribute to engineering governance, design standards, and continuous improvement of technical processes.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure smooth progression from development to RTB and into execution.
Requirements:
- Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in electrical engineering within the energy or power systems sector.
- Strong background in MV/HV electrical design and engineering validation.
- Experience reviewing and assessing external engineering deliverables.
- Solid understanding of MV/HV systems, substations, protection & control, and grid connection requirements.
- Fully communicative in English.
- Professional design license is an advantage.
