We are searching for an Site Environment Consultant for our client who is in the chemicals industry. This role is located in Dordrecht. In this role you will receive a 6 month contract with a possibility to extend.

Qualifications:
You are responsible for managing expectations regarding environmental compliance on the site. In your role, you will be responsible for the RC 14001 certificate and monitor environmental performance on the site. As an Environmental Consultant, you support these investment projects and contribute to solving complex issues. After an introduction period, in which you become acquainted with our business, the site, the factories and our people, you will start working in the team that works on Environment, Health Safety and Sustainability (EHSS team). You are an expert in the field of the environment, where you are continuously working on improvements and preventive research into new environmental solutions. You participate in the environmental network of the site and are a contact person for the authorities. • Completed technical HBO or WO education, preferably focused on the environment.
• Experience in the chemical industry and government bodies
• You are an open-minded and flexible team player
• You have good writing skills and are able to write formal reports that can be made public and shared with authorities.
• You work independently, show initiative and are motivated.
• You are a good organizer and work in a structured manner
• You work effectively and efficiently to increase productivity for yourself and in your team.

Responsibilities:
• Take responsibility for the preparation of environmental documents, such as permit applications, environmental reports, the management assessment RC 14001;
• Create an audit plan, perform audits and provide follow-up based on the analysis of the audit findings;
• Monitor environmental performance against the permit and report to management;
• Improve and maintain compliance management systems.
• Work with Manufacturing Technology and Operations teams to initiate and implement projects to further improve environmental performance
• Provide solicited and unsolicited advice in the areas of noise, air, water, soil and waste.
