NES Fircroft are partnering with an engineering design house in Thornaby who are looking for an AVEVA E3D System Administrator / CAT's and Spec's Specialist. This is a permanent oppertunity and comes alongside some fantastic benefits.

Key Responsibilities

  • Key user responsible for all E3D related activities including:

    • E3D administrator

    • E3D CATS and Specs

    • E3D Draw administrator

    • E3D Global administration

    • E3D project set up

    • E3D MDS

    • E3D reporting

    • E3D software customization

  • Co-ordination of all PDMS deliverables (Iso-metric’s, G.A.’s. MTO’s etc).

  • Setting up of both Review and Navis Works models.

  • In house training of designers in all aspects of PDMS.

  • Focal point to end users for all PDMS queries/help/advice.

  • Preparation of General Arrangement and Layout Drawing, Schedules and/or 3D model.

  • Checking drawings prepared by others.

  • Supervision of Designers & CAD Operators as determined by the immediate supervisor.

  • Maintenance of drawing registers in conjunction with Document Control Department.

  • Working to the project programme, quality plan & IMS procedures.

  • Advising and guidance to apprentices.

  • Weekly updating of engineering progress data.

  • Identification of scope change to base estimate.

  • Working within the allocated manhours budget for work scopes.

  • Attendance to assist site visits as required.


Qualifications and Experience

  • ONC or equivalent qualification or technical capability in the appropriate Engineering subject.

  • Appropriate engineering experience in the particular discipline.

  • Knowledge of engineering practices, codes and regulations and current HSE Legislation and Regulations related to the discipline.
