Our Client, a global automotive company, is looking for experienced, results-driven individual to join as a:


DIRECT BUYER


Responsibilities:
  • Gathering and verifying information about components and suppliers for the project.
  • Obtaining quotes and comparing prices and delivery conditions from potential suppliers, considering long-term cost reductions.
  • Collaborating with the Cost Estimation team to verify and negotiate prices with suppliers.
  • Assessing technical and production capabilities of suppliers together with the SQE/SDE team and coordinating the PAPP component approval process.
  • Selecting suppliers, negotiating prices, deadlines, and other contract terms (e.g., incoterms, packaging standards) in cooperation with the SCM team.
  • Preparing purchase orders for production components and related tooling on the domestic and international markets.
  • Collaborating with the project team under the direction of the Project Manager and coordinating actions with Global Commodity Managers/Buyers and Plant Commodity Buyers to implement the global strategy.
  • Reporting and executing other tasks assigned by the supervisor.


Requirements:
  • Higher education in fields such as production management and engineering, economics, or related disciplines.
  • Advanced knowledge of English at the C1 level (mandatory).
  • At least 3 years of experience in the Purchasing Department.
  • Very good knowledge of MS Office and information systems.
  • Experience and proficiency in using the SAP system.
  • Practical experience in collaborating with domestic and international suppliers.
  • High customer orientation and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to multitask, determination in task execution, excellent communication skills, and a team-oriented attitude.
