Description:
Our client is a major North American energy company based in Calgary, Alberta - Canada, that develops and operates natural gas pipelines, storage facilities and power-generation plants, with focus on renewable energy sources.

We are seeking an Executive Desktop Support Analyst who has experience supporting C-suite users. The ideal candidate will work very closely with a pool of Executive Assistants to provide holistic support and solutions to senior leaders and users in the Toronto office. This role requires full time physical presence in the office (5 days a week) and on-call availability.

What you’ll do:
  • Serve as the single point of contact for all IT issues raised by users in the Toronto office.
  • Serve as the liaison between the end users in the office and other IT support groups.
  • Proactively test and perform health checks on Audio/Video (AV) systems in various conference and meeting rooms in the office.
  • Provide AV support for ongoing meetings in various conference rooms.
  • Schedule and coordinate visits to site by technicians from our third-party AV integrator.
  • Create quick reference guides for troubleshooting common IT issues.
  • Provide regular training/coaching to Executive Assistants (EA) on how to resolve common IT issues
  • Attend EA weekly meetings to proactively plan for upcoming important events
  • Work with EAs to improve the technology experience for senior leaders and end users.
  • Provide live support and Produce Teams live events
  • Troubleshoot laptop issues on the Windows operating systems and the entire suite of Microsoft Office 365.
  • Provide remote support (outside business hours) to senior leaders.
  • Maintain and manage IT hardware inventory and provision equipment to end users.
  • Assist with any IMAC (Install, Move, Add, Change, and Disposal) activities in the Toronto office.
  • Perform Windows password resets and provision RSA soft tokens to new and existing employees.
  • Assist with small office projects as needed.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • At least 2 years of experience supporting Microsoft 365 solutions.
  • Experience provisioning RSA secure tokens
  • Knowledge with AV support, including Teams, WebEx and Zoom.
  • Experience with hardware support (Desktop, Laptop).
  • Understanding working with Groups, Organization Units, and Credentials in Active Directory
  • Experience providing mobility support (iPads, iPhone).
  • Proficiency with the Windows 11 Operating System.
  • Experience with Windows 11 Operating system imaging.
  • Experience writing Quick Reference Guides, Knowledge Base articles and technical documentation.
  • Experience installing manual patches on End User Workstations.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. The successful candidate must have the ability to explain technical concepts to a non-technical audience in ways that can easily be understood.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience resolving incidents and fulfilling requests in ServiceNow
  • Microsoft certification
  • ITIL V4 Certification
  • CompTIA A+ Certification or equivalence
  • 2 years of experience providing Executive support.
