Data Engineer
We have a unique contract role for someone coming from a geology background who is looking for some longer term contract work within the energy industry and based from New Plymouth.
In this role you will be responsible for collecting geological and drilling data collection and reporting the findings. You will ensure that the appropriate equipment is on site for this specialised work. Some of the logging information you will be collecting will include depth, gas units and composition, rates of penetration, and lag times. You will be interpreting logging information to determine occurrence and composition of any targeted energy shows which occur while drilling.
You will need to be a full team player and have the ability to work and effectively communicate with a variety of people on and off site as well as be physically fit to fulfill the requirements of the job.
On offer will be a remuneration package reflecting your skills and experience as well as the opportunity to stamp your mark on this position and grow accordingly with it while working for an international organisation.
You will need to have the relevant experience or a relevant geology qualification and the skills to pick up the role quickly.
