Control Systems Engineer – Water/Wastewater

About our client:
Our client offers a range of automation engineering solutions to the resources, energy and manufacturing sectors. Their services include electrical, control and instrumentation engineering. They have built up an enviable list of national and international customers. They have been kept very busy moving into 2025 and they are seeking a Brisbane-based Control System Engineer to contribute to future project deliverables.
  
Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the design and commissioning of control systems for greenfield and brownfield projects in collaboration with client-based engineering teams
  • Manage the development of PLC and HMI software
  • Provide technical advice in system integration, testing, and commissioning
  • Troubleshoot and resolve control system issues to ensure optimal performance
  • Participate in continuous improvement and enhancement processes with multidisciplinary teams
 
Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualification in Electrical Engineering, Control Systems Engineering, or similar field
  • Experience working on water/wastewater projects
  • Proficiency in PLC and HMI programming
  • Knowledge of SCADA systems and control system hardware
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
  • Sector experience in resources, energy and/or manufacturing
