We are seeking services of a skilled and proactive Contract Administrator. This is a dynamic opportunity to work within a high-profile energy transition project, contributing to the successful delivery of complex construction contracts.

About the Role
We are seeking services of a skilled and proactive Contract Administrator. This is a dynamic opportunity to work within a high-profile energy transition project, contributing to the successful delivery of complex construction contracts.
Key Responsibilities
- Draft and issue kick-off meeting minutes with construction contractors.
- Administer and manage construction contracts, including correspondence tracking and response drafting.
- Review and validate variation requests and proposals, ensuring contractual compliance.
- Lead negotiations on contractor claims and extra cost requests, and support in developing claims defense strategies.
- Prepare contract amendments and maintain an up-to-date variations log.
- Draft notices of default and manage the application of liquidated damages as required.
- Review pro-forma invoices and coordinate with accounting for milestone payments.
- Maintain a detailed invoice log and support the financial closure of contracts.
- Attend and document project meetings, ensuring accurate and timely minutes of meetings.
- Ensure all contract administration documents are properly stored in the project’s SharePoint.
- Preferably an engineering degree.
- 5+ years’ experience in contract administration, ideally in a construction site environment.
- Proven experience in international construction projects.
- Strong understanding of construction contracts (Civil, Mechanical, E&I).
- Demonstrated ability to negotiate variations and claims effectively.
- Excellent communication skills in both French and English (spoken and written).
- Highly organized, autonomous, and capable of managing multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with a proactive and adaptable mindset.
