Compliance Advisor

NES Fircroft on behalf of our client a leading Oil & Gas Operator is seeking a detail-oriented Compliance Advisor to join their Decommissioning Team in a Compliance Support role in Norwich. This position will play a vital role in supporting the UK's energy transition by ensuring regulatory compliance for the decommissioning of offshore oil and gas assets.

Key Responsibilities:

• Stay informed of changes to laws, regulations, and company rules related to offshore asset decommissioning.
• Draft general sections of decommissioning programs and coordinate with technical teams for documentation.
• Prepare and monitor regulatory permit applications.
• Maintain and update the Permits, Licenses, Approvals, Notifications, and Consents (PLANC) system.
• Compile reports and presentations for regulator meetings.

Skills Needed:

• Strong organisational and time management skills.
• Exceptional written English and attention to detail.
• Ability to summarize complex information into clear reports.

Preferred but not required:

• Background in decommissioning or compliance.
