Commissioning System Lead SAS and ICT 
 
Contract period: 25.08.2025 - 31.03.2027
Location: Stord, Offshore

Main Tasks: 
  • Lead role for ensuring completions and commissioning's requirements of all Company’s projects is carried out safely, efficiently by FFA (Fixed Facility Alliance) and ensure they meet all Company’s project and operational requirements, including verification and assurance.
  • Responsible for implementing the commissioning certification and handover process according to Project Completion Strategy.
  • Accountable for ensuring the safe and efficient handover of plant and equipment to the Asset Operations team upon completion of commissioning activities.
  • Provide leadership and direction to the Commissioning SAS & ICT Team and ensure that an important level of focus is maintained on health, safety and the environment to achieve Company’s expectations.
  • Provision of commissioning support to project as required including ensure sufficient staffing according to project needs.
  • When required act as the site Commissioning Authority during the commissioning phases.
  • Contribute to the preparation of project forecasts, schedules, costs estimate associated with the commissioning scope for all relevant SAS Systems.
  • Contribute and advice related to SAS & ICT input to overall Completion strategy and planning.
  • Manage contractors and other resources providing services and supplying materials Software or equipment for SAS & ICT Commissioning.
  • Provide leadership and direction to the SAS &ICT Commissioning Team, coordinating the appropriate Commissioning discipline resources with the skills to:
  • Witness contractor/supplier tests as necessary (FAT/SAT).
  • Develop, review, and implement commissioning procedures.
  • Implement the commissioning scope.
  • Ensure a smooth transition from Project to Operations.
  • As required; set up and co-ordinate commissioning reviews, covering all disciplines, to meet Company’s expectations.
  • Participate in pre-start-up and performance test reviews when necessary.
  • Establish completions and handover strategy and documentation early in all projects to support efficient commissioning and handover to operations at end of project.
  • This position is fully mobile with base location Stord and offshore . The position will be rotational.

Qualifications:
  • BSc. in Engineering or a related field or equivalent education / experience.
  • Record of accomplishment of engineering and commissioning competency and delivery in the Oil & Gas industry and able to demonstrate effective project management skills.
  • Ability to engage and lead a team of professionals.
  • Familiarity with planning tools, works management systems and document management systems.
  • Ability to engage and lead a team of commissioning engineers & technicians.
  • Minimum 10 years of relevant experience.
  • Be self-motivated with a willingness to learn from others and work with minimum direction.
  • Actively seeks out knowledge and best practice, related to own area of contribution.
  • Strong planning and organising ability.
  • Actively engages and respects contributions of others, in face to face or virtual meetings.
  • Looks for ways to do things better, faster, more efficiently according to LEAN principles.
  • Focuses effort and prioritises work to deliver business value.
  • Good knowledge of the English and Norwegian languages (both written and verbal).
