Job Title: Commissioning Supervisor/Superintendent III    
Work Location: Fort St. John Field Office      
Start/End Dates: 10/14/2024 - 10/13/2025   

Assignment Scope: Key Accountabilities
• Reviews, edits, and approves the Commissioning and Handover Execution Plan.
• Influences design engineering to facilitate commissioning and start-up.
• Develops the turnover and start-up sequences and schedule.
• Pre-qualifies sub-contractors. Compiles commissioning scopes of work for contract tender requirements.
• Reviews contract terms and conditions.
• Attends and contributes to Commissioning sub-contract bid clarification & kick-off meetings.
• Edits and assists with implementing the sites Safety Management System; delivering site safety and environmental compliance targets.
• Reviews and approves the commissioning and start-up procedures. Assists with the implementation of site QA/QC Management Systems and oversees the population of  the Completion management system (CMS).
• Reviews and approves contractor's schedules and planning basis (norms).
• Reviews accuracy of contractor progress statements. Leads the Commissioning Readiness review.
• Develops and manages the commissioning & start-up schedule and cost estimate.
• Verifies mechanical completion is in compliance with specifications.
• Oversees the budgeted spend for training and vendor assistance.
• Provides a lead role in the commissioning and startup of all process units and equipment.

Required and Preferred Skills and Experience • Typically 10-15 years of experience.
• Provides oversight to professional and/or lead staff.
• Responsibilities may include several technical/functional areas.
• Resolves complex problems.
• Provides input to development of technical/functional strategies and ensures operational plans are aligned with business objectives.
• Decisions are guided by functional objectives.
