Working Hours/Day: – 8-10 hours a day
Working Days/Week: - 6 days a week
Working Days/ Month: - 26 days a month
Leave Rotation: - 12 weeks on/ 2 weeks off

Key Job Accountabilities
- Lead and execute Electrical Pre-Commissioning and Commissioning activities in line with project deliverables and execution timelines.
- Drive EPC Contractor performance to meet commissioning milestones through strong planning, coordination, and execution leadership.
- Provide on-site technical leadership in substations and field locations, troubleshooting and resolving Electrical and Controls system issues during SAT, loop testing, function testing, and energization.
- Review and approve pre-commissioning and commissioning documentation including procedures, method statements, check sheets, and work packages.
- Facilitate effective coordination between EPC Contractor, Operations, vendors, subcontractors, and internal project teams to resolve execution gaps.
- Oversee EPC Contractor commissioning activities, ensuring appropriate resource deployment, competency validation, and compliance with project specifications and standards.
- Ensure strict adherence to SHES (Safety, Health, Environment, and Security) requirements, actively participating in safety meetings, toolbox talks, and site walkdowns.
- Validate commissioning results and prepare detailed reports, ensuring completeness, accuracy, and readiness for handover.
Minimum Requirements (Person Specification)
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Applied Sciences (Electrical preferred).
Knowledge and Experience
- Minimum 8 years of experience in commissioning for large Oil & Gas / LNG projects.
- At least 1 year in a supervisory or leadership role, including oversight of contractors or vendors.
- Demonstrated experience as an Electrical Commissioning Engineer (or equivalent).
- Strong experience in system completion processes, including:
- Walkdowns
- PSSR (Pre-Startup Safety Review)
- Certification processes
- Expertise in systemization, including:
- Check sheet development and allocation
- Completions databases
- Commissioning procedures and method statements
- Hands-on experience with High Voltage and Low Voltage systems, including:
- Substations (132kV and below)
- Transformers and switchboards
- UPS systems and battery chargers
- Earthing and lightning protection
- Lighting systems
- Cathodic protection and heating systems
- Experience with compressors and control systems.
- Knowledge of international electrical standards and best practices.
- Experience in substation commissioning.
- Exposure to greenfield and brownfield projects, including shutdowns and tie-ins (preferred).
Technical & Business Skills
- Strong planning, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities in complex project environments.
- Proficiency in commissioning tools and completions database software such as WinPCS, ICAPS, or equivalent.
- Excellent knowledge of electrical testing, inspection, and commissioning protocols.
- Strong reporting and documentation skills.
