Years of Experience: 5-15 years
Scope: The Civil Project Manager will oversee refinery project work, including civil demolition for launcher pads, structural steel, tank work, tank bottoms, and concrete. The role requires a strong background in project management within civil work, ideally within the refining or energy sector. However, candidates with heavy industrial PM civil work experience will also be considered.
Responsibilities:- Manage and coordinate all aspects of civil projects from inception to completion.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
- Liaise with clients, stakeholders, and subcontractors to ensure project objectives are met.
- Oversee procurement of materials and equipment.
- Conduct regular site inspections and provide technical guidance.
- Resolve any issues or conflicts that arise during the project lifecycle.
- Proven experience in civil project management, preferably within the refining or energy sector.
- Strong understanding of civil demolition, structural steel, tank work, and concrete.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Engineering degree is not required, but relevant experience is essential.
- Experience in heavy industrial PM civil work.
- Familiarity with refinery project work and associated challenges.
