I am currently supporting a large Utility in the USA who are looking for a Civil Oversight Field Engineer for a HVDC Converter station construction project.

Scope of Work:
• Oversee and coordinate the civil construction activities to ensure alignment and compliance with the jobsite policies, specifications, and all relevant documents.
• Provide written reports of site activities.
• When required, participate in investigations to include root cause, engineering, and assist in providing corrective actions.
Qualifications:
• Solid understanding of Owner, Consultant, and Contractor communication.
• Ability to coordinate with additional field staff.
• OSHA 10 certification required with a familiarity of field construction safety.
• Strong understanding of safety controls, work authorizations that are used by
contractors, and material testing and construction inspections.
• Ability to review cost estimating, construction planning, scheduling, and equipment requirements.
• Ability to read and understand technical documents, procedures, specifications, and drawings.
