Excavat are a well-established and local Taranaki Civil Construction company based in Hawera. They cover everything in the civil industry such as ground/earth works, drainage, site preps, effluent systems and roading in Taranaki and Whanganui. Excavat have the reputation of partnering with you on all of your earthmoving needs and are known for their reliable service, exceptional quality, and a commitment to customer satisfaction.
They are now looking for an Experienced Carpenter to join their elite team and a typical day will require a variety of tasks to be undertaken including a wide range of formwork carpentry and general construction tasks including site set outs, steel work and retaining walls. You will have experience with GPS and surveying.
This is a full-time permanent role of around 50 hours per week Monday to Friday, with the odd nights out of town required on projects away from home.

- Hard-working attitude
- Strong time-management skills
- Have a clear understanding of civil construction drawings, processes, and techniques.
- Clean, full license
- Strong health and safety awareness
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills
- Ability to lift heavy objects and operate hand tools safely.
