Our client, a well-known Tier One mining operator in Perth CBD, is looking for the next Business Intelligence (BI) Developer to join the team.

Role description

• Advise on MS Power Platform Governance – to be documented in the M365 Governance Plan
• Ensure the technical framework is in place for the MS Power Platform & MS Dataverse
• Manage the M365 environments (PowerApps, PowerBI Workspaces)
• Provide technical support for MS Power Platform rollout, including user questions and training sessions
• Drive migration of unmanaged and ungoverned PowerBI workspaces, PowerBI reports and Power Apps to inside the governed framework.
• Assist / develop / automate identified business processes with the M365 environment

Key Specific skills/specialities:

• Dataverse expert
• Proven experience at deploying a governed cohesive M365 environment
• Proven experience in enriching complex SPO environments
• Proven experience in Power platform
• Proven Experience in developing and managing custom plug-in(s) for Model Driven Apps in Power Platform
• Experience in PowerApps Component Framework (PCF) development is beneficiary
• Excellent time management and task prioritization skills
• Excels at working in a collaborative team environment

Additional skills/specialities:

• Skilled in M365 technologies, MS SharePoint and MS Office (Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
• Substantial experience in the analysis, design and implementation of a range of products in M365 technologies
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to formulate a detailed roadmap based on analysis, workshops, and best practices
• Enjoy working with customers to develop world-class solutions
• Strong communication skills working in a collaborative environment
• Solid English with written and verbal communications skills, including building relationships and ability to interact well with business and technical resources at all levels of the organisation.
• Quality management to ensure the deliverables are a true reflection of the requirements
• Self-starter with the ability to work independently and to tight deadlines
