Opening for Business Development Manager & Sales Closer

Location: Bangalore
Education: Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Business, or a related field. Advanced degrees are a plus.

Experience:
o    3-4+ years of experience in business development, sales, or client acquisition within engineering, industrial services, or sustainability sectors.
o    Proven track record of closing high-value deals in the GCC region and working with senior decision-makers.

Skills:
o    Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to present complex solutions to clients effectively.
o    In-depth knowledge of the GCC market, government regulations, and business practices.
o    Ability to work independently, lead a small team, and manage sales processes efficiently.
o    Willingness to travel for client meetings and industry events.

The Business Development Manager & Sales Closer will be responsible for identifying and pursuing business opportunities across the GCC and other international markets. This role requires a strategic focus on expanding Client’s presence in sectors like industrial, infrastructure, oil & gas, energy, and government. The successful candidate will be responsible for converting leads into closed deals, maintaining strong client relationships, and ensuring Client’s premium positioning in the market.

Key Responsibilities:

Business Development & Client Acquisition:
o    Identify and pursue business opportunities in the GCC region and globally, focusing on sectors such as power, oil & gas, and infrastructure.
o    Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including government entities, consultants, EPC contractors, and major industrial players.
o    Develop strategic partnerships with local businesses and distributors to strengthen Client's market presence.

Sales Strategy & Execution:
o    Leverage PR and networking efforts initiated by the Founder to convert leads into successful deals.
o    Present and market Client’s services, emphasizing quality, safety, and innovation to align solutions with client needs.
o    Develop and execute sales strategies aligned with Client’s objectives and market dynamics.

Deal Negotiation & Closing:
o    Lead negotiations and close high-value deals with terms that are favorable to Client's.
o    Address pricing objections by emphasizing Client's superior quality and reliability, ensuring clients see the value beyond just cost.
•    Team Leadership:
o    Lead and manage a small team of 2, ensuring effective collaboration to meet sales targets.
o    Coordinate with internal teams (engineering, operations) to ensure alignment with client deliverables and project timelines.

Market Research & Insights:
o    Conduct market research to identify emerging trends, understand customer needs, and monitor competitor activities.
o    Provide strategic insights to senior management to refine business strategies and capitalize on opportunities.

Reporting:
o    Submit regular sales progress reports, market insights, and competitor analysis to senior management.
