Description:
Our client is a major North American energy company based in Calgary, Alberta - Canada, that develops and operates natural gas pipelines, storage facilities and power-generation plants, with focus on renewable energy sources.

What you’ll do:
• Contract analysis and management, responsible for execution, monitoring, and continuous improvement of contracting function;
• Use knowledge of tariff requirements for transportation services to ensure contract adjustments meet the terms of service;
• Help facilitate the ongoing exchange of information and continuous improvement across departments;
• Provide analysis and integrated solutions to eliminate reoccurring data issues;
• Assist in developing and maintaining up-to-date and accurate documentation and provides knowledge transfer for business processes and workflows within functional area;
• Adhere to compliance with work standards, policies and procedures;
• Participate in projects that involves enhancements to contracting systems including design requirements and user acceptance testing;
• Provide exceptional customer service; while providing solutions that support the needs of our customers.

Minimum Qualifications:
• Pipeline regulatory knowledge, comfort with tariffs, knowledge of contract terms and conditions and experience with commercial services an asset;
• Excellent written and oral communication skills;
• Superior analytical and problem-solving skills, and able to balance multiple competing priorities;
• Ability to collaborate with diverse departments without direct supervision while representing the Contracting team;
• Awareness and knowledge of end-to-end process in order to assess impacts to upstream and downstream functions an asset;
• Strong computer skills, with intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office suite – particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Word - able to manipulate large data sets into readable and usable information;
• PowerBI experience
• Good judgment in selecting and interpreting information, handling deviations from standard methods, and resolving difficulties;
• Challenge and improvement of business processes within area of responsibility and understanding impact within the business area;

Education
• Bachelor’s Degree preferably in Business/Commerce or Economics.
• Midstream oil and gas/pipeline experience would be considered an asset
